Dazzling speedster, Nonso Nzediegwu extended his goal tally in the NPFL this season to five after netting the second goal in 3-0 victory over Adamawa United.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah returned to winning ways after a narrow loss on Sunday at Kano Pillars in matchday 29.
In-form attacker Ekene Awazie commissioned the scoring for the day with a brilliant left foot low strike just after 14 minutes to beat hapless goalkeeper, Friday Achimugu before second half goals from Nzediegwu and Abel cruised the Anambra Warriors to a comfortable victory.
It was a fantastic outing for Nzediegwu who just oozed confidence throughout the entire duration.
He wasn’t scared to turn on the after burners and run against Adamawa United’s fragile backline at will. His footwork was excellent and so was decision making too, one can say he’s really showing maturity at this young age.
He wrapped up the day with a brilliant strike inside the box to extend the scoring before coming inches away from getting his second and third towards the closing minutes of the game.
